*points accusing finger*

I don't know which one of you lot has been recommending me to other people but omgilu, I woke up this morning with a ton of new comments on old stories and snippets, and it's the BEST FEELING EVER.

Re: You so deserve feedback and comments...

I... what?

Em, for the longest time, I was afraid to say ANYTHING about your fic because it was SO good and I felt like such a dork trying to express my love for it. Since the first fic I read of yours (BEFORE I FOUND YOUR LEGACY OF KAIN FIC. SRSLY. I think I found you through Lost Souls, and then saw your name everywhere in my favorite fandom and realized that you were to LoK fic what Neofox or Herisheft were to the art: a damn genius.)

So. Yeah. I can't be the only one who sees this. Your massive influx of comments as of late supports this. You are that good! :3

(So going to read your fic in the morning. As for now, it's too-damn-early in the A.M. and I need to go to bed. ILY!)

*brb, bawling*

YOU. You are love. You are the very reason people think it's important enough to write about.

And you make me happier than I'll ever honestly believe I deserve <3.

Re: You so deserve feedback and comments...
If you weren't, like, a million miles away, I'd have to find you and hug the sweet bejeezus out of you for that. <3

Just speculation here, but if I ever collect enough money for a trip your way (LOLright), would you be up for a visit and a bit of sightseeing?

Dudette, if you were ever headed to Liverpool, apart from walking a trench into the floor outside Liverpool airport from pacing up and down going "IS SHE HERE YET IS SHE HERE YET IS SHE HERE YET" I would totally let you stay at my house and I'd show you the three museums or okay maybe just one because the other two are a bit rubbish in comparison and the library and the Beatles museum which is a bit of a cheat 'cause it's not a real museum and thus isn't counted with the other three and I'd take you on the Ferry across the Mersey river and we would feed seagulls and pigeons and then I'd gnaw an arm off deciding whether to take you to the Asha restaurant for dinner or just order in from our AMAZING AMAZING local indian takeaway (Al Amin omgggggggggggggg so good) and and and in between EXPLODING WITH EXCITEMENT I'd whisk you through all our shops and mourn the lack of Quiggins which you would have LOVED and if I can I'd probably sneak you up to Manchester to see Canal Street in all its glorious gay and delicious honeybuns from Ho's Bakery (so wrong sounding but SO RIGHT) and and Affleck's Palace which you would lurve, lurve so hard and omg.

And then I would die happy <3.

Just speculation here, but if I ever collect enough money for a trip your way (LOLright), would you be up for a visit and a bit of sightseeing?

Re: You so deserve feedback and comments...

Hee! I'll start saving up now! Maybe the family will help to fund the trip as a graduation present? I SHALL HOPE SO.

I've never had Indian takeaway. Ever. And the other sounds intriguing! So as to that dilemma, I say we do BOTH. >:D

Quiggins? What was that?

And... OMG. I was just settling in for a nap, but how can I possibly sleep now? I shall :D for at least the next three years. THANKS A LOT.

Um. I hate to suddenly introduce bad news, but...

Re: You so deserve feedback and comments...
Signed the petition like woaaaaaaaaaaah, because WTF MTV HELL TO THE NAW.

Quiggins was an indoor market, aimed mostly at moshers, goths and alternatives, only it wasn't as horrifically watered down as, say, Hot Topic. I've seen a girl wander around in there before wearing a see-through plastic coat with her pubes dyed green. It's insane and marvellous and a source of many of my scarves, ties and beads :D. There's another alternative indoor market in Liverpool that tries to be what Quiggins was but just isn't the same... Affleck's Palace in Manchester, on the other hand, is a lot closer to the original atmosphere :).

Re: You so deserve feedback and comments...

Hopefully I won't be in this awful job by then but DUDE DUDE DUDE like the SECOND you have a set of dates let me know :D :D and I will book time off so I can spend it with you PROPERLY.

Erm, my family are totally crazy btw, but they'll love you <3, they love all my mates because my mates are ~awesome~. OH. Oh, and, and, I know England is teeny tiny, but the best airports to get to me are Liverpool John Lennon or Manchester Airport because I can get the train to them and meet you and OMG.

I AM :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :DING TOO.

Re: You so deserve feedback and comments...
When would be the best time to come? If July/August works, that would be the ABSOLUTE BEST TIME EVAR regarding the birthday of the andremeese (July 31. Hee!), but I also REALLY LIKE SNOW and never get to see it here, so. Um. This is also looking to be more of a pre- or post-graduation type of thing, so about three years, if that's cool?

Hey. Hey. Is there some kind of Titanic museum/memorial there? That would be absolutely sweet.

TRAINS. We don't have those here. Public transportation doesn't exist in Alabama, sans a few city buses that are of no help whatsoever on campus. THIS IS EXCITING AND GRAND!

Re: You so deserve feedback and comments...
*rolls over and dies of happy*

July/August always works - especially August as it's when all of the family is usually off (mum's a teacher ^^, gets the traditional summer holidays) and alas, snow is WHOLLY unpredictable so I wouldn't get your hopes up - Manchester sometimes gets snow but Liverpool doesn't as it's salty (riiiiiight on the edge of the sea)!

And OMG DO NOT FORGET TO WRAP UP WARM. Even in summer, England can get soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cold. And and and yes, three years is cool :D, and one of the not-so-awesome museums I mentioned is the Liverpool Maritime Museum and it does have a Titanic section. Did you know one of my great-grandmas on my mum's side and her family nearly ended up on the Titanic but caught scarlet fever at the last minute and had to bail? NEVER HAS SCARLET FEVER BEEN SO LUCKY.

And hee! Trains are, like, the major mode of transport here apart from cars, and they're not as hideously cramped as you might imagine but they are pains in the backsides. And and omg, with all the forewarning, I'd probably be able to get mum to make Gaelic Coffee Trifle or Chocolate Fudge Cake or something SIMILARLY AWESOME with regards to homemade desserts, and it's ridiculous that my brain's gone off on one about food instead of sight-seeing but FOOD AND FAMILY GO TOGETHER DAMNIT AND YOU ARE EXTENDED FAMILY TO ME.

Also, I have a ton of DVDs, so even if we get pooped and have to pop back home to laze, we won't get bored. And, and, omg, I keep THINKING OF THINGS TO DO WITH YOU, and it's ASDFJASDFJLAS EXCITING.

Also, also, I could show you a bit of Aintree Racecourse :D, you know, the one the Grand National (biggest horse race in the world) runs on? :D :D :D

*flails like crazy for a bit*

And and and you can think of AS MANY quintessentially English things as you like, I'll let you know if I can do anything to demonstrate said things to you :D. Pity Whittards closed, you would have loved to see all the different varieties of tea... but I can show you my stupidly large collection of Twinings teas and stuff that PRETTY EFFECTIVELY DEMONSTRATE that yeah, tea is awesome if you're English, heeeeeeeeeeeeeeee <3 <3 <3! WE COULD EVEN HAVE SCONES AND JAM.

Or, well, you could have scones and jam, I would just have scones, because I don't like jam, but my mum does so IT'D STILL BE COOL.

I apologise for that fact I'm almost guaranteed to be living with my parents still (THANK YOU ECONOMY) but but but I promise they're totally awesome and get the hint when private time with friends is needed. ERM. Not necessarily THAT sort of private time, but certainly, LOUD AND ENTHUSIASTIC discussions of manporn might not go down so well with dad when he's in the room, but he hides from strangers anyway so S'ALL GOOD.

And I think my mum's been a bit smitten with you ever since you sent me the box of goodies from Lush and I nearly cried <3 <3 <3. OF HAPPY, DUH.

Do excuse me, I'll have to go and do some exploding with joy for a minute <3.

Re: You so deserve feedback and comments...
I want to try clotted cream. That does not exist in this part of the world, and I AM CURIOUS.

DUDE, scarlet fever is, like, amazing now.

And I won't go pervy around your parents, no worries! I'm hideously shy around strangers, really, and I tend to go uber-polite until my mind lets me know that danger=passed. And that bit about the Lush? I GIGGLED MADLY. And, um, rumor has it that in the box that's just itching to be sent your way hides a collection of pretty-smelling shower things, including this scent: http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/sm-dancing-waters--fi-2783973_cp-2831053.html

But, yes. I do look forward to meeting your parents and your siblings and your everybody, because :D :D :D

I... *wibbles*

I need a minute or so to process that. *sniff*

Um, right. Totally composed and not wibbly or anything now. /liar
The July 31 birthday would be especially significant as that would be my 21st, which is the legal drinking age over this way and is a supposed milestone. I'd LOVE to spend it in good company and do so thousands of miles away from home so I can act a fool without fretting too badly. I don't mind if you see any potential silliness, of course. :D

Hmm. How long would it be appropriate to stay? This is still a long way off, I know, but I'm all kinds of curious and giggly now!

Re: You so deserve feedback and comments...
Oh man :D, um... I would say appropriate staying time for both parties (namely you and my parents :D) would probably be anywhere up to two weeks? Although you're TOTALLY WELCOME to stay longer if you want :D, it's just a suggested time 'cause I know after a week and a half holidays sometimes start to feel a little less like holidays and a little more like work, or at least I know this IN THEORY having never been on a long holiday myself, and, and, um. :D

And you would be SO WELCOME to act like a fool over here <3, drinking is kind of a national pasttime, and we have a zillion pubs around here. Hell, if we do the Manchester thing and I can persuade one of my Mancunian buddies to let us crash at theirs, we could probably go on a big gay night out, although that's kind of dependent on my Mancunian buddies staying in Manchester so we shall see! A few of them have family around there though so we should be good \m/.

Or, hell, by then maybe we could even be really naughty, splash out and rent a room for the night!

My family would totally love you <3, only thing I've ever seen them get tetchy about is swearing but even then :).

*keeps having to remind self this is all in theory to stop EPIC EXPLOSIONS OF EXCITEMENT*

*also, so not pondering what to get you for your birthday XD*

WAIT OMG - am I having a moment of mathematics fail, or does that make the birthday coming up this year your 18th? DUDE THAT'S AWESOME. I NEED TO WRITE YOU SO MUCH PORN.

Re: You so deserve feedback and comments...
No swearing, no worries. :D

Heh, I was totally off on my staying estimation. I was wondering if three days was imposing too much!

My birthday coming up would be my 19th. I, um, didn't actually do much for my 18th. I think I saw that Chuck and Larry movie with a friend and got Italian food after. Eventful, huh?

(I started scribbling a list of things we must do. On the list: get your family to demonstrate an American accent, as I cannot hear it, and also watch Dune, and listen to Muse and write stream-of-consciousness drabbles. SCORE.)

:D :D :D
